INSIGHT (Insight Advisory and Consulting India (OPC) Pvt ltd) is a consulting firm based in Kochi, India. INSIGHT was founded by Shri.Rahul R, an IRS officer (Indian Revenue Service) who worked in various capacities Government of India and Government of Kerala. After 15 years of service both in Tax and Development Administration, (7 years in Tax administration and 8 years in Development Administration), he resigned and started Insight Advisory and Consulting India (OPC) Pvt ltd as an outcome-based consulting firm.

How We Started
During the course of working as a civil servant, I have come across a lot of Project Reports and consultancy documents which were provided by the big brands in consulting. While earnest efforts are being made by these counterparts in providing consultancy services, many at times, a lack of perspective about the reality at ground has made these consulting recommendations unimplementable. Lack of outcome focus was evident in most cases.
Also, Indian development eco-system, including in public and private sectors, is flooded with many stakeholders as well as externalities which require a ground level understanding of not just the laws and regulations, but also the practical implementation hurdles.
The idea of INSIGHT developed from this requirement which was pointed out by many corporates as well as public sector institutions during the course of interactions. INSIGHT rooted in core Indian ethics and values focusing on the final outcome for the client is a small step in that direction.
